Leah is a Brooklyn-based playwright and performer originally from Montreal.

Recent works include Gutbelly at Columbia and the Vino Theatre, the electrologist at the CATCH Performance Series, watching you watching me watching you at The Tank, Warm Science at The Brick, a reading of Cankersore Paradise at La MaMa, and an adaptation of The Threepenny Opera at Columbia.

Her plays have been selected for the Road Theatre’s Summer Playwrights Festival (CA), the Samuel French Off-Off Broadway Short Play Festival, and the American Theatre Fresh Ink reading series (FL). She has attended the Sewanee Writers’ Conference and the La MaMa Umbria Playwrights’ Retreat.

Her work has also be produced through The Chain, Soho Playhouse, Citizen Arts, Playwrights Horizons Theatre School, SUNY Purchase, 938 Collective, Round the Bend, and We Who Wander.

She is currently pursuing her MFA in playwriting at Columbia University.

She is a fan of the unpleasant and the absurd.
